- 5 - ABSTRACT The invention proposes a two-axle hybrid vehicle with an internal combustion engine and an electric drive, the internal combustion engine being accommodated at the front and all four wheels being driven (the rear wheels via a propshaft). The electric motor is assigned to the propshaft and designed as a permanent-magnet synchronous motor, the rotor of which is formed by part of the propshaft. By this means, permanent all-wheel drive is provided both when operating with the internal combustion engine and in the electric mode.
