FOUR WHEEL DRIVE MECHANISM ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Disclosed herein is an improved four wheel drive mechanism characterized in that a third intermediate differential is disposed along the power shaft connecting two conventional differentials in a four wheel drive vehicle. This third differential serves a power take off from a conventional transmission and motor and serves to evenly divide the power out put generated by the engine to both front and rear differentials. Planetary gear and associated gear trains connected to the out put shaft trans- mission and provide equal out put to both differentials thereby diminishing binding which present when a conventional four wheel drive vehicle is driven on a hard road.
