A dipole fractal antenna and a method of manufacturing thereof are described. The antenna includes a pair of oppositely directed radiating arms (21A, 21B) coupled to a feeding terminal (22) and extended therefrom along a central axis (0) in a common plane. At least a portion of each radiating arm has a fractal geometric shape. The antenna also includes at least one pair of electrical shunts (23, 24) configured for connecting at least two points selected within the fractal portion of one radiating arm correspondingly to two points selected within the fractal portion of another radiating arm. The dipole fractal antenna further may comprise a balun arranged at the feeding terminal and configured for coupling the pair of oppositely directed radiating arms to a coaxial cable to provide a balanced feed.
La présente invention concerne une antenne doublet fractale et son procédé de fabrication. L'antenne comprend une paire de bras rayonnants orientés dans des directions opposées (21A, 21B) et reliés à une borne d'alimentation (22), à partir de laquelle ils s'étendent le long d'un axe central (0) dans un plan commun. Une partie au moins de chaque bras rayonnant a une forme géométrique fractale. L'antenne comprend également au moins une paire de shunts électriques (23, 24) configurés pour connecter au moins deux points sélectionnés dans la partie fractale d'un bras rayonnant avec deux points correspondants sélectionnés dans la partie fractale d'un autre bras rayonnant. L'antenne doublet fractale peut en outre comporter un symétriseur placé au niveau de la borne d'alimentation et configuré pour relier la paire de bras rayonnants opposés à un câble coaxial de façon à produire une alimentation équilibrée.
