A fractional turn fluid joint for a fluid body. The fluid body includes a port which accommodates a tube having a tube shoulder. The port has 2 concentric port bores and a lock bore transverse to the port bores. A lock, placed in the lock bore, includes 2 lock profiles and is rotateably operable between an open and a locked position. One lock profile has a cam profile and the other profile defines a flat catch section adjacent two sections of greater diameter than the catch section. A resilient element is mounted next to the shoulder. In the open position the lock is removable from the bore. In the closed position, the cam of the first lock profile acts on the tubing for preventing removal of the lock and the catch section urges the shoulder against the annulus for a sealed passageway between the fluid body and the tube.
