A dry fragrance composition having from about 0.1 to about 20%, by total carrier weight, of a fragrance composition substantially uniformly deposited on the surface of a nonabsorbent solid inorganic particulate substrate is used to impart a fragrance to a second material. The nonabsorbent solid inorganic particulate substrate can be an alkali metal chloride, sulfates, or tripolyphosphates, soda ash, borax, or a zeolite.

L'invention concerne une composition de parfum sèche contenant entre environ 0,1 et 20 % du poids total du support d'une composition de parfum déposée de façon sensiblement uniforme sur la surface d'un substrat particulaire minéral solide non absorbant qui est utilisé afin de donner un parfum à un second matériau. Le substrat particulaire minéral solide non absorbant peut être du chlorure de métal alcalin, des sulfates, ou des tripolyphosphates, du carbonate de sodium, du borax ou du zéolite.
