A frame (12) is provided for an orthopedic brace (10) having a frame assembly (14) and an opposing frame assembly (16). The frame assembly includes a first longitudinal support (22) and a second longitudinal support (26), rotatably connected by a rotational hinge. The opposing frame assembly includes a first opposing longitudinal support and a second opposing longitudinal support rotatably connected by an opposing rotational hinge. The first longitudinal support has a greater degree of flexibility than the first opposing longitudinal support and/or the second longitudinal support has a greater degree of flexibility than the second opposing longitudinal support to enhance the fit of the frame with the body of a user.
L'invention concerne une structure d'orthèse munie d'un premier ensemble structure et d'un second ensemble structure opposé. Le premier ensemble structure comprend un premier support longitudinal et un second support longitudinal reliés rotatifs par une articulation rotative. Le second ensemble structure opposé comprend un premier support longitudinal opposé et un second support longitudinal opposé reliés rotatifs par une articulation rotative opposée. Dans un souci d'amélioration de l'ajustement de ladite structure sur le corps de l'utilisateur, le premier support longitudinal présente un degré de flexibilité supérieur à celui du premier support longitudinal opposé et/ou le second support longitudinal présente un degré de flexibilité supérieur à celui du second support longitudinal opposé.
