The tank frame comprises two vertical support beams spaced apart from each other and at least one tank support bracket attached with bolts to each of the vertical support beams for carrying at least one tank on the chassis of a heavy vehicle, preferably behind the vehicle's cab. The tank is supported on the bearing surface of the tank support bracket such that it is in contact with the vertical support beam either directly or through a flange that is a part of the bearing surface. The overall space occupied by the frame is therefore reduced. The vertical support beam can be a composite beam made of two C-shaped structural members arranged back to back and the tank support bracket can be attached to the vertical support beam by holding a portion thereof between the two structural members of the composite beam.
Cadre de réservoir comprenant deux barres verticales de soutien espacées et au moins un support de réservoir fixé au moyen de boulons à chaque barre verticale de soutien pour transporter au moins un réservoir sur le châssis d'un véhicule lourd, idéalement derrière l'habitacle. Le réservoir est soutenu par la surface de soutien du support de réservoir de manière à être en contact avec la barre verticale de soutien, directement ou par l'intermédiaire d'une bride faisant partie de la surface de support. L'espace occupé par le cadre est donc réduit. Les barres verticales de soutien peuvent être des barres composites constituées de deux éléments structurels en C adossés l'un à l'autre, et le support de réservoir peut être fixé à la barre verticale de soutien en joignant les deux éléments structurels de la barre composite.
