2129518 9315921 PCTABS00024 A kit of parts for making a frame for supporting a canvas, a frame assembled from said parts and an artist's canvas comprising a canvas mounted on said frame are provided. In order to allow the assembly of a frame (38) of any desired size, it is foreseen that the end-user may cut and mitre one or more frame members (31) to the required lengths. Canvas is secured to the frame members and is then stretched by the insertion of wedges (39) between the frame members.
