Frame profile, preferably of plastic material, for windows or the like, comprising several chambers, with at least one rabbet section projecting approximately parallel to the plane of the glazing or the like, in which a locating groove for a seal is embodied, the seal having a basis with an anchor-shaped cross-section from which at least one sealing lip projects obliquely to the axis of the locating groove, with a seal tongue being shaped to its end and the seal being insertable both as a glazing and as a stop seal into the frame profile
