The wireless communication system comprises a base station (BS), a mobile station (MS), and a relay station (RS). The frame structure comprises an MS sub-frame and an RS sub-frame. The MS sub-frame is used for transmitting data between the RS and the MS. The RS sub-frame is used for transmitting data between the RS and the BS.
