The invention relates to a building, for example a residential building or a hall, comprising a frame (1), which consists of several frame elements (9) which are arranged in a parallel manner and at a distance from each other. The frame elements (9) consist of two vertical supports (3) and at least one horizontal carrier (5, 7). Said frame elements (9) are connected together to the frame (1) of the building by posts (11) which are arranged on the outside on the vertical supports thereof (3). In order to connect the supports (3), the carriers (5, 7) and the posts (11), corners (17) which are made of sheet steel, which open the holes (19) for the insertion of connection means (screws) into the side thereof (23) and/or from the sides (23) of the corner (17), and bent pins (21) are used according to pin plates. Bolts for connecting the frame elements (9) and for reinforcing the frame (1) in the longitudinal direction, and which are arranged and secured between the vertical supports (3) are provided in a frame (1) which consists of frame elements (9) which is provided with vertical supports (3) and horizontal carriers (7). The bolts (37) support wall elements (39) which are adjacent to the stops (50) on the innerside thereof on the vertical supports (3). Preferably, the wall elements (39) and the bolts (37) are prefabricated units which are applied to the stops (50) in an adjacent position between the vertical supports (3) and then the bolts (37) are secured to the vertical supports.
