ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Framing for shelves incorporates sections of elongated slotted channel members and apertured L-shaped corner pieces fastened thereto so as to form vertical and horizontal supports for a plurality of shelves, the elongated channel members have transversely arcuate base portions and oppositely disposed longitudinally extending cross sectionally arcuate flanges joining said transversely arcuate base portion in continuously curving sections and oppositely coplanar outwardly extending continuous substantially flat edge flanges on said arcuate flanges. The L-shaped corner pieces each have configurations corresponding to the configuration of the channel member for mating with said channel members for intimate contact therewith in nesting relation. The channel members and the corner pieces contact each other adding rigidity and shear strength to the framing. This inven- tion is distinguishable from others by reason of the formation of the channel members and the corner pieces so that they contact each other throughout their engaging arcuate surfaces to add rigidity and shear strength to the framing. -2-
