ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A framing system is disclosed containing: (i) a corner component having a first arm joined at an angle to a second arm, each said arm having an elongate extension incorporating first joining means, and (ii) a connector incorporating second joining means adapted to cooperate with said first joining means and thereby connect a pair of said corner components. Also disclosed is a method of constructing a frame, comprising the steps of: (i) connecting by means of a first connector a pair of corner components, (ii) connecting by means of a further connector one of said pair of corner components to a further corner component; (iii) optionally repeating step (ii) until a desired number of corner components have been connected; and (iv) connecting all corner components together to form a frame, wherein each corner component has a first arm joined at an angle to a second arm, each said arm has an elongate connector incorporates second joining means adapted to cooperate with said first joining means to thereby connect a pair of said corner components.
