The invention concerns a franking and addressing device especially designed for printing a franking mark at a predetermined location (3) on the surface of a postal object (2). It comprises printing means (21, 30) adapted to form a franking mark on said location while the object is moved opposite said printing means. Moreover, the printing means are adapted to form on said postal object surface, a destination address (11) of said postal object while the object is being moved opposite said printing means.
