The invention relates to agglomerates of flame-retardants, in particular melamine cyanurate, containing aggregates with an average size of between 0.1 and 10 wt.%, relative to the total agglomerates weight, and has a softening point higher than 40~C. The invention further relates to a method for producing said agglomerates, the use of the agglomerates in the preparation of polymer compositions, and polymer compositions containing melamine cyanurate.

L'invention se rapporte à des agglomérats d'ignifuges, plus particulièrement de cyanurate de mélamine, contenant des agrégats dont la taille moyenne oscille entre 0,1 et 50 µ liés entre eux à l'aide d'une matière auxiliaire. La concentration de cette dernière est comprise entre 0,1 et 10 % en poids par rapport au poids total des agglomérats et présente un point de ramollissement supérieur à 40 ·C. L'invention se rapporte également à un procédé d'obtention desdits agglomérats, à l'utilisation desdits agglomérats dans la préparation de compositions polymères et aux compositions polymères contenant le cyanurate de mélamine.
