The invention relates to a tilling wheel suitable for mounting freely and rotatably on an axle fixed to the frame of a plough, said axle being inclined with respect to the feed direction of the plough in order to impart a rotational motion to said wheel when the plough is moved. Its circumference takes the form of a succession of convex lobes (21).
