ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A freezer apparatus including a casing, a conveyor, a cooler, a fan and a motor to drive the fan. A pressure room is provided which is connected to several blast nozzle members positioned over and under the conveyor belt. Cold air is drawn from the cooler and collected in the pressure room where pressure is permitted to rise. The cold air is projected out of the blast nozzle members onto the conveyor to freeze the goods on the conveyor as they pass through a zone, called a cooling zone, where the blast nozzle members are positioned. The conveyor may be horizontally extending or a spiral vertically extending conveyor. Discrete multiple cooling zones may be provided, each controlled at a particular temperature.
