A freezer for a liquid in a receptacle (14) comprises a housing (1), containing a cooling battery (5) for cooling a gas, a means (7) for generating a flow of the cooled gas and a jet device. The latter comprises a pluralitly of shells (6), each completely surrounding a receptacle (14) inserted into the respective shells with the exception of a first opening (15) for inserting the receptacle and a second opening (16) for discharging a flow of gas resulting from jets directed towards the outside of the receptacle. Each shell (6) has holes (18) in all its side walls in areas directly opposite a receptacle inserted into the shell for directing jets towards the outside of the receptacle. In addition, the freezer has indicators (11) for indicating which shells (6) do not contain a receptacle (14) and for indicating when the liquid in a receptacle inserted into a shell is frozen.

Le congélateur se compose d'un caisson (1) abritant une batterie de refroidissement (5) servant à refroidir un gaz, un dispositif (7) de création d'un flux de gaz refroidi et un dispositif à jets de gaz. Ce dernier se compose de plusieurs coques (6) entourant chacune un récipient (14) placé à l'intérieur, sauf au niveau d'une première ouverture (15) servant à introduire le récipient et d'une deuxième ouverture (16) servant à libérer le flux de gaz provenant de buses dirigées vers la phase externe du récipient. Chaque coque (6) comporte des orifices (18) dans la totalité de ces parois latérales, en des emplacements directement opposés au récipient placé à l'intérieur, pour permettre de diriger les jets de gaz contre la partie externe de ce récipient. Le congélateur comporte en outre des indicateurs (11) précisant quelles coques (6) n'abritent pas de récipient (14) ainsi que le moment à partir duquel le liquide contenu dans le récipient placé à l'intérieur d'une coque est congelé.
