A collapsible container for transporting goods, comprising a floor (1) and a plurality of side walls (2), whereby at least one first side wall has at least one door (3) for loading and unloading the container, at least one side wall adjacent to the door (3), and at least one guide rail (4) arranged essentially horizontally for swiveling the door (3) and for sliding the door (3) along the guide rail (4), whereby the door (3) engages vertically via a pin (51) into a first hole (41) or into a first depression (41) in the guide rail (4) on one door hinge (5) per guide rail (4) so as to swivel, and the guide rail (4) is configured in such a way that, by lifting the door (3), the pin (51) can be removed from the first hole (41) or from the first depression (41) without it being possible for the door hinge (5) to be removed from the guide rail (4), and in this state, the door (3) can be slid along the guide rail (4) parallel to the side wall (2), so that the inside (32) of the door (3) faces the outside (21) of the side wall (2), whereby a sliding guide (7) installed on the inside of the door (31) rests on the sliding guide so as to slide in order to prevent the door from tilting when it is being slid.
