In a digital communications system, a sampled signal is precisely reconstructed (rather than approximated) even in situations where the phase of the sampling signal is adjusted. More particularly, the sampled signal is compensated in the frequency domain for phase adjustements to the sampling instance in the time domain. In the context of echo cancellation, an echo transfer function is generated representing the echo channel impulse response. Aliased components present in the echo impulse response are specifically identified and compensated for in the frequency domain by treating each spectral filter coefficient of the echo transfer function as the sum of a baseband component and an aliased component. In addition to accurately compensating for sampling phase adjustments, this technique considerably relaxes traditional sampling constraints.

Dans un système de communications numériques, un signal échantillonné est reconstitué avec précision (et non approximativement) même dans des cas de réglage de phase du signal d'échantillonnage. Plus particulièrement, le signal échantillonné subit une correction de phase dans le domaine de fréquences en fonction des exemplaires d'échantillonnage dans le domaine temporel. Dans le contexte d'annulation d'écho, une fonction de transfert d'écho est générée et représente la réponse impulsionnelle du canal d'écho. Des composantes de repliement présentes dans la réponse impulsionnelle de l'écho sont spécifiquement identifiées et subissent une correction dans le domaine de fréquences lorsque chaque coefficient spectral de filtre de la fonction de transfert d'écho est traité, sous la forme d'une somme d'une composante de bande de base et d'une composante de substitution. Outre une correction précise de la phase d'échantillonnage, cette technique diminue considérablement les contraintes d'échantillonnage traditionnel.
