The invention relates to a fresh air inlet for an aircraft that features at least one ram air inlet with at least one ram air inlet opening, at least one secondary air inlet opening that is spaced apart from the ram air inlet and at least one movably mounted flap, wherein the flap can be moved into a first position and into a second position, and wherein the flap essentially covers the secondary air inlet opening in the first position and at least partially opens the secondary air inlet opening and at least in certain areas extends into the air flow directed toward the ram air inlet opening in order to shield the ram air inlet opening from foreign matter in the second position. The air inlet according to the invention makes it possible to reduce the pressure loss of the air inlet on the ground or during flight phases with relatively slow speed due to the enlarged cross-sectional surface. This results in that the actual ram air inlet can be optimized for cruising phases, and that the energy expenditure for any downstream compressors and flow-induced noises can be considerably reduced.
L'invention concerne une entrée d'air frais pour un avion, comportant au moins une entrée d'air dynamique (20) dotée d'au moins une ouverture (36), au moins une ouverture d'entrée d'air supplémentaire (26) séparée de l'entrée d'air dynamique, et au moins un volet (30) logé mobile, ce volet pouvant être déplacé dans une première position et dans une deuxième position, ledit volet recouvrant sensiblement l'ouverture d'entrée d'air additionnel dans la première position, ouvrant au moins partiellement l'ouverture d'entrée d'air additionnel dans la deuxième position, et s'étendant au moins partiellement dans l'écoulement d'air orienté vers l'ouverture d'entrée d'air additionnel de façon à la protéger des corps étrangers. L'invention permet de réduire les pertes de pression de l'entrée d'air grâce à une surface transversale accrue, au sol et dans les phases de vol à vitesse relativement réduite. Ce qui permet d'optimiser l'entrée d'air dynamique effective pour les phases de vol de croisière, et de réduire sensiblement la consommation d'énergie pour d'éventuels compresseurs branchés en aval ainsi que les bruits d'écoulement.
