A frictional clutch for a hand-held device for transferring a film from a backing tape onto a substrate comprises a first main member (1) having a cylindrical element (5) coaxially protruding into a circular center opening (7) of a second main member (2). The first and second main member (1, 2) are supported such that they can carry out a relative rotational movement. The second main member (2) comprises coaxial tensioning elements (4) for holding and pre-tensioning an elastic ring (3) guided around said tensioning elements (4), The tensioning elements (4) are geometrically arranged such that ring (3) is exposed in the form of at least one secant-shaped leg in the center opening (7). The secant-shaped leg (6) of the ring (3) is biased radially outwards when the cylindrical element (4) of the first main member (1) is inserted into the center opening (7) of the second member (2) in order to produce a frictional force between the ring and the circumferential wall of the cylindrical element (5).
L~invention décrit un embrayage à friction pour dispositif tenu à la main servant à transférer un film d~une bande de renfort sur un substrat qui comporte un premier organe principal (1) dont un élément cylindrique (5) dépasse coaxialement dans une ouverture centrale circulaire (7) d~un deuxième organe principal (2). Les premier et second organes principaux (1, 2) sont soutenus pour qu~ils puissent réaliser un mouvement rotatif relatif. Le deuxième organe principal (2) comporte des éléments tendeurs coaxiaux (4) pour tenir et pré-tendre une bague élastique (3) guidée autour desdits éléments tendeurs (4). Les éléments tendeurs (4) sont agencés géométriquement de façon que la bague (3) soit exposée sous la forme d~au moins une patte en forme de sécante dans l~ouverture centrale (7). La patte en forme de sécante (6) de la bague (3) est contrainte radialement vers l~extérieur quand l~élément cylindrique (5) du premier organe principal (1) est introduit dans l~ouverture centrale (7) du deuxième organe (2) afin de produire une force de friction entre la bague et la paroi circonférentielle de l~élément cylindrique (5).
