Reversible outerwear (10) comprised of a pair of front panels (39, 41) and rear panel (43) joined by a plurality of seams (32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37). The front panels (39, 41) are attached by the zipper (55). The panels (39, 41, 43) are fabricated as a laminate of a pair of opposed textile facings (20, 22) with an interstice stratum therebetween (52). One of the facings (20) is an abrasion resistant dress weave and the other (22) is a high-visibility knit. The zipper (55) is covered by a pair of overlapping flaps (68, 70), one on each front panel (39, 41). The flaps (68, 70) are closed by a temporary fastener (72, 74).
