The present invention describes a front mounting ski assembly for use with a child stroller, said stroller of the type comprising of three or four leg members, said stroller comprising of front leg members being inline or offset of rear leg members, said leg members comprising of single or double wheels, said ski assembly comprising of a ski runner comprising of an undersurface and a top face, said undersurface for sliding engagement over ice and snow terrain, said ski member containing a curved forward portion, and a preferably curved rear portion, said undersurface containing three grooves running the length of the ski member for the purpose of directional integrity, said ski member containing a hole on the rearward portion of the ski for connecting a cord from the ski to the rear leg members to prevent the pivoting of front wheels that can not be locked from pivoting, said cord being preferably made of an elastic type material; (b) a wheel mounting located on the top face of the ski assembly, said wheel mounting containing a left and a right side block to prevent lateral movement of the stroller wheels on the skis, said side blocks being of a trapezoid shape and comprising of a tapered outside portion for fitting double wheels with a variable distance within the said double wheels, said side blocks comprising of a tapered inner portion for fitting single stroller wheels of various widths, said wheel mounting containing a front block to prevent forward movement of the stroller wheels on the ski, said wheel mounting containing a rear block to prevent rearward movement of the stroller wheel on the ski, said rear block being preferably forward and rearward adjustable for fitting stroller wheels of different sizes; (c) a strap for securing the said stroller wheels) to the said ski mounting(s).
