ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A front wheel suspension system for motorcycles wherein a shock absorber is arranged in the upper part of the front surface of an upper fork so that the number of the shock absorber can be made one and this shock absorber and at least one link mechanism forming a quadrilateral on the side are connected with each other through a rod playing a role as a load transmitting member. The number of shock absorbers can be reduced, the weight of the suspension system can be also reduced. Moreover, the moment of inertia required to rotate the suspension system to the right and left can be reduced. Further, the shock absorber can not be influenced by the mud or the like.
