In a tool for removing frost on an automotive's window or wind-shield, it is known to have a straight edge which is pressed against the surface and moved forward and backward to remove frost. In this invention, the straight edge is replaced by a combination of left-hand and right-hand screw-like (helical) ridges. When this combination is placed on an automotive's window or wind-shield and is rotated about its axis, the helical ridges move on the surface and remove the frost in the directions parallel to the axle of said combination. The combination of left-hand and right-hand helical ridges is desired for neutralizing lateral forces which result directly from the action of removing frost by said ridges.
