Abstract of the Disclosure An FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) demodulator having an AFC (Auto- matic Frequency Control) circuit is disclosed. The demodulator is used to demodulate an FSK-modulated signal that is transmitted with n transmitting frequencies made to correspond to n-level information signals where n is a positive integer equal to or greater than 2. The demodulator includes a variable frequency oscillator the frequency of which is variable in response to a control signal. The demodulator also includes a frequency converter circuit for converting the FSK-modulated signal into an intermediate frequency signal by means of an output of the oscillator. A signal generator respon- sive to the output of the converter circuit generates the n-level information signals and the control signal, there being at least n frequency-stable points which correspond to the n transmitting frequencies.
