The invention refers to a fuel cell device comprising an electrolyte device, which comprises an alkaline electrolyte means and an acid electrolyte means, wherein the fuel cell device is formed such that at least part of at last one reaction product produced at the electrolyte means can be supplied to the other electrolyte means. Moreover, the invention comprises a method of operating a fuel cell device, which includes the following steps: providing an alkaline electrolyte means and an acid electrolyte means, supplying at least one fuel and at least one oxidant, discharging reaction products, wherein at least part of at least one reaction product produced at an electrolyte means is supplied to the other electrolyte means.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de piles à combustible comportant un dispositif électrolytique composé d'une unité électrolytique basique et une d'unité électrolytique acide. Ledit dispositif de piles à combustible est conçu de manière qu'au moins une partie d'au moins un produit de réaction produit sur une unité électrolytique peut être alimenté à l'autre unité électrolytique. L'invention concerne également un procédé d'utilisation d'un dispositif de piles à combustible consistant à mettre en oeuvre une unité électrolytique basique et une unité électrolytique acide, à alimenter au moins un combustible et au moins un agent d'oxydation, et à évacuer des produits de réaction, au moins une partie d'au moins un produit de réaction produit sur une unité électrolytique étant alimentée à l'autre unité électrolytique.
