In a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (100B), a groove (142) (cathode-side gas flow path) in a cathode-side separator (140), and a groove (152) (anode-side gas flow path) in an anode-side separator (150) are formed such that air and hydrogen flow in a direction opposite to the direction of gravity. A surface treatment may applied to the surface of the grooves (142 and 152) such mat the hydrophilicity is higher on the downstream side than on the upstream side in the grooves.

Dans une pile à combustible à membrane électrolytique polymère (100B), une rainure (142) (trajet d'écoulement gazeux côté cathode) dans un séparateur côté cathode (140), et une rainure (152) (trajet d'écoulement gazeux côté anode) sont formées dans un séparateur (150) côté anode, de telle sorte que de l'air et de l'hydrogène s'écoulent dans une direction opposée à la direction de la gravité.
