-1- ABSTRACT The invention provides a fuel cell employing an organic, high-molecular electrolyte. The fuel cell of the present invention can prevent the leakage of the electrolyte from an electrolyte chamber so that electrical short-circuit between an anode and a cathode can be avoided. The resulting cell is simple in design but extremely effective in operation.
