A fuel cell easy to manufacture and superior in cell performance. The fuel cell has a fuel electrode and an oxygen electrode facing each other with a proton conductor in-between. The fuel electrode and the oxygen electrode include current collectors containing carbon nano-tubes. The current collector containing carbon nano-tubes is high in strength and density and exhibits a superior function as current collector in conjunction with satisfactory electronic conductivity proper to the carbon nano-tubes. By employing the current collector containing carbon nano-tubes, it is unnecessary to take the mechanical strength of the fuel electrode or the oxygen electrode into consideration and hence these electrodes can be reduced in thickness.

L'invention concerne une pile à combustible comprenant une électrode à combustible et une électrode à oxygène placées en opposition l'une par rapport à l'aide d'un conducteur protonique.
