A fuel composition comprises a major proportion of a middle distillate petroleum-based fuel oil having a wax content of less than 2 wt.% at 10 ~C below the cloud point of the fuel and specified distillation characteristics, and a minor proportion of an additive comprising an ethylene-unsaturated ester copolymer, other than an ethylene-vinyl acetate bipolymer, having an unsaturated ester content of greater than 10 mole % and, optionally, a different ethylene unsaturated ester copolymer.

Cette composition de carburant est constituée par une proportion majeure d'un fuel-oil à base de distillat moyen, possédant une teneur en paraffine inférieure à 2 % en poids et ce à une température se situant 10 ·C en dessous du point de trouble du carburant, ainsi que des caractéristiques de distillation spécifiées, et par une proportion mineure d'un additif comportant un copolymère d'ester à insaturation éthylénique, autre qu'un bipolymère d'acétate d'éthylènevinyle possédant une teneur d'ester insaturé supérieure à 10 moles %, ainsi qu'éventuellement, un autre copolymère d'ester à insaturation éthylénique.
