A middle distillate fuel composition comprising (a) a middle distillate base fuel, (b) a Fischer-Tropsch derived paraffinic wax component, and (c) one or more cold flow additives; a method for formulating a middle distillate fuel composition comprising a middle distillate base fuel, comprising (i) incorporating into the base fuel a Fischer-Tropsch derived wax component; and the use of a Pischer-Tropsch derived wax component in a middle distillate fuel composition, for the purpose of increasing the effect of a CFPP improver additive in the composition.
L'invention porte sur une composition de carburant de distillat moyen comprenant (a) un carburant de base de distillat moyen, (b) un composant de cire paraffinique issu de Fischer-Tropsch et (c) un ou plusieurs additifs favorisant l'écoulement à froid ; sur un procédé de formulation d'une composition de carburant de distillat moyen comprenant un carburant de base de distillat moyen comprenant (i) l'incorporation dans le carburant de base d'un composant de cire issu de Fischer-Tropsch ; et sur l'utilisation d'un composant de cire issu de Fischer-Tropsch dans une composition de carburant de distillat moyen, dans le but d'augmenter l'effet d'un additif améliorant la température limite de filtrabilité (CFPP) dans la composition.
