A fuel composition comprising a major amount of hydrocarbon fuel and a minor lubricity improving amount of a composition made by reacting component (A) with component (B) under salt-forming conditions; component (A) comprising a carboxylic acid represented by the formula R(COOH)n wherein R is a hydrocarbon group of 2 to 30 carbon atoms and n is a number in the range of 1 to 4, or an anhydride of said acid; and component (B) comprising a heterocylic aromatic amine.
On décrit une composition combustible contenant une quantité considérable de combustible hydrocarboné et une faible quantité à pouvoir lubrifiant amélioré d'une composition obtenue par réaction du composant (A) et du composant (B) dans des conditions de formation de sel. Le composant (A) contient un acide carboxylique de la formule R(COOH)¿n? dans laquelle R est un groupe d'hydrocarbures de 2 à 30 atomes de carbone, et n est un nombre compris entre 1 et 4 ou un anhydride dudit acide. Le composant (B) contient un amine aromatique hétérocyclique.
