A fuel control system for an internal combustion engine having an intake passage, a compressor provided in the intake passage, a throttle valve disposed downstream of the compressor, a bypass passage connecting an upstream side of the compressor to a downstream side of the compressor, and an air bypass valve provided in the bypass passage. An intake air flow rate of the engine is calculated based on the engine rotational speed and the intake pressure, which are detected when the air bypass valve is determined to be in the opening operation state. An amount of fuel supplied to the engine is then controlled according to the calculated intake air flow rate.

L'invention concerne un système de régulation de débit de carburant pour un moteur à combustion interne muni d'un passage d'admission, un compresseur monté dans le passage d'admission, un papillon des gaz en aval du compresseur, un passage de dérivation raccordant un côté en amont et un côté en aval du compresseur, ainsi qu'une soupape de dérivation d'air montée dans le passage de dérivation. Un débit d'air d'admission du moteur est calculé en fonction du régime du moteur et de la pression d'admission, qui sont détectés lorsque la soupape de dérivation d'air est jugée comme étant en position d'ouverture. La quantité de carburant débitée au moteur est ensuite régulée selon le débit d'admission d'air calculé.
