Fuel Controller for Gas Turbine Engine ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Gas turbine engines are commonly used as a means for powering a wide variety of rotating equipment including gas compressors and electrical generators. The rotational speed of the gas turbine engine is controlled through the use of a fuel controller which regulates the volume of fuel supplied to the engine. The present invention provides a fuel controller which processes signals indicative of the operation of the gas turbine and generates a signal which when applied to a fuel control valve causes the valve to regulate the fuel supplied to the engine. Incorporated into the fuel controller, are switches which operate to selectively allow or prevent the generated signals being passed on the fuel control valve. A reset means incorporated into the signal processors works in conjunction with the switches to allow for a smooth transition from one controlling parameter to another. - 1 -
