A fuel conveying member (22, 26) in a gas turbine engine (10) includes a heat pipe (50) disposed in heat transfer communication with a fuel flow passage (40) thereof, such that heat is transferred by the heat pipe (50) from a high temperature region to a lower temperature region of the fuel flow passage (40).
