A unit cell composed of a fuel electrode, an air electrode, and an electrolyte layer or hollow layer disposed between the electrodes, or a fuel battery comprising a stack of such unit cells. The fuel battery is such that a supply port for supplying hydrogen-based/oxygen-based mixture gas produced by electrolyzing an electrolyte while vibrating and stirring it and collecting the produced gas is provided on the fuel electrode side, and the fuel electrode to which the mixture gas is supplied is gas-permeable. The hydrogen- based/oxygen-based mixture gas contains H, H2, H3 and/or HD, OH, 16O, and O2.

L'invention concerne une cellule unitaire composée d'une électrode à combustible, d'une électrode oxydoréductrice, et d'une couche d'électrolyte ou couche creuse disposée entre les électrodes, ou une batterie de piles à combustible comprenant un empilement desdites cellules unitaires. Cette batterie de piles à combustible est conçue de façon qu'un orifice d'alimentation est situé sur le côté électrode à combustible, cet orifice permettant de fournir un mélange gazeux à base d'hydrogène et d'oxygène produit par électrolyse d'un électrolyte tout en faisant vibrer et en remuant ce dernier et en recueillant le gaz produit, ladite électrode à combustible à laquelle est fourni le mélange gazeux étant perméable au gaz. Ledit mélange gazeux à base d'hydrogène et d'oxygène contient H, H¿2?, H¿3? et/ou HD, OH, ?16¿O et O¿2?.
