A FUEL GASIFICATION DEVICE Abstract of the Disclosure A fuel gasification device comprises means defining an air passage and an enclosed chamber for liquid fuel having an inlet and an outlet. The outlet includes a nozzle located in the air passage for spraying fuel therein in the form of a mist, and means are provided for introducing fuel under pressure into the chamber through the inlet. A blower forces air through the passage past the nozzle and a heater, located upstream of the nozzle, heats the combustion air. Means are preferably provided for heating the liquid fuel in the chamber to a temperature below its boiling point at the pressure in the chamber. In this way a rapid gasification of the liquid fuel is achieved without high boiling fractions in the fuel forming deposits.
