Internal combustion engine having a fuel system for injecting pressurised gas in liquid condition. After shut-off of the engine leaking of the injection valve might result in entering of vaporised gas in the combustion space decreasing starting properties because of enriched mixture. To prevent leaking of gas through the injecting or metering valve a shut valve is placed downstream of the metering valve.

L'invention concerne un moteur à combustion interne pourvu d'un système de carburant permettant d'injecter du gaz sous pression, à l'état liquide. Après arrêt du moteur, une fuite de la soupape d'injection peut provoquer l'entrée de gaz vaporisé dans l'espace de combustion, ce qui diminue les propriétés de démarrage du fait que le mélange est enrichi. Pour empêcher une fuite de gaz à travers la soupape d'injection ou de dosage, on place une soupape de fermeture en aval de la soupape de dosage.
