A B S T R A C T A fuel injections nozzle 12 includes a valve assembly 19 located within a chamber defined in a body part 13, 16 to which fuel is supplied through an inlet 21. The wall 17 of the chamber is resilient whereby during the initial delivery of fuel to the injections nozzle the wall deflects to store fuel whereby the initial rate of flow of fuel to the engine will be at a reduced rate.
