A high-pressure fuel pump (24), a high-pressure fuel filter (26) and a fuel pressure regulator (34) are housed, shut off from the atmospheric air, in a case (40) which is corrosion-resisting and rust-resisting against damage from salt water. A position above the oil surface of an oil tank (10) communicates with the atmospheric air via an atmospheric communication pipe (74). A fuel check valve (76) is installed at the portion of the pipe (74) which is closer to the fuel tank (10), and an air check valve (78) at the portion of the pipe which is closer to the atmosphere. A second breathing pipe (82) communicating with the inside of the case (40) is allowed to communicate between the fuel check valve (76) position and the air check valve (78) position on the pipe (74). Therefore, the inside of the case (40) does not communicate directly with the atmosphere, but communicates only with the pipe (74) communicating with the atmosphere (on the downstream side of an air cleaner in an engine intake path (75)) and the fuel tank (10), thereby preventing the rusting of high-pressure fuel parts, such as the high-pressure fuel pump (24), the high- pressure fuel filter (26) and the fuel pressure regulator (34) due to shut off atmosphere.

L'invention porte sur une pompe (24) à carburant haute pression, un filtre (26) pour carburant haute pression et un régulateur (34) de pression de carburant qui sont logés, isolés de l'air extérieur, dans un carter (40) résistant à la corrosion et à la rouille dues aux effets de l'eau salée. Une position se trouvant au-dessus de la surface de l'huile d'un réservoir (10) communique avec l'air extérieur via une conduite (74). Un clapet (76) est placé au niveau de la partie de la conduite (74) proche du réservoir (10) de carburant, et un autre clapet (78) se trouve au niveau de la conduite proche de l'atmosphère. Une seconde conduite (82) communiquant avec l'intérieur du carter (40) permet la communication entre la position du clapet (76) pour carburant et la position du clapet (78) pour l'air sur la conduite (74). En conséquence, l'intérieur du carter (40) ne communique pas directement avec l'atmosphère (sur le côté amont d'un filtre à air d'une voie (75) d'admission du moteur) et le réservoir (10) de carburant, ce qui empêche les parties haute pression telles que la pompe (24) à carburant et le filtre (26), ainsi que le régulateur (34) de carburant, de rouiller du fait de leur isolation de l'atmosphère.
