A limitation device which limits post-adjustment rotation of an adjustment screw on single adjustment screw carburetors. In one embodiment, the limitation device uses a limiter cap removably attached to the adjustment screw which works in conjunction with a limiter stop attached to the carburetor. In a second embodiment, the limitation device uses a limiter cap removably attached to the adjustment screw which works in conjunction with a plate attached to the carburetor. In either embodiment, the limiter cap presents a first and second rotational stop which cooperates with at least one rotational stop on the limiter stop or plate. A special tool and method is also disclosed for installing and removing the device from the carburetor.
La présente invention concerne un dispositif limiteur qui restreint, pour le réglage à posteriori, la rotation d'une vis de réglage (10) dans le cas des carburateurs (20) à une seule vis de réglage. Selon une réalisation, le dispositif limiteur utilise un couvre-vis limiteur (100, 200) monté de façon amovible sur la vis de réglage (10), la manoeuvre de la vis se faisant en coopération avec une butée limite (300, 400) solidaire du carburateur. Selon une seconde réalisation, le limiteur utilise un couvre-vis limiteur (700) fixé de façon amovible à la vis de réglage (10), la manoeuvre de la vis se faisant en coopération avec une platine (600) solidaire du carburateur. Dans les deux réalisations, le couvre-vis limiteur (100, 200, 700) présente une première et une seconde butée de rotation (110, 210) qui coopère avec au moins une butée de rotation (304, 306, 404, 406, 606) située sur la butée limite (300, 400) ou sur la platine (600). L'invention concerne également un outil spécial et un procédé permettant l'installation du dispositif sur le carburateur ainsi que la dépose du dispositif du carburateur.
