PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION Carburant pour moteur à combustion interne obtenu à partir d'un mélange d'hydrocarbures contenant des hydrocarbures oléfiniques ayant de 5 à 8 atomes de carbone caractérisé en ce qu'il est obtenu par un procédé comprenant a) une étape d'éthérification catalytique, d'au moins une partie des oléfines éthérifiables contenu dans ledit mélange d'hydrocarbures, à l'aide d'au moins un alcool ayant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, la quantité d'alcool employée étant telle que le rapport molaire alcool : oléfines éthérifiable soit d'au moins 1 : 1, et b) une étape de lavage à l'eau du produit contenant des éthers avant sa récupération comme carburant.
