The present invention relates to the use of a nitrogen- containing dispersant as an antioxidant additive in a fuel composition comprising biofuel. The nitrogen-containing dispersant is preferably selected from: (i)the reaction product of a hydrocarbyl-substituted carboxylic acid or derivative thereof with an amine which product includes a hydrocarbyl substituent of at least 8 carbon atoms; (ii)a long chain aliphatic amine comprising a hydrocarbyl group of at least 8 carbon atoms; and (iii) the Mannich reaction product of a phenol, an amine and an aldehyde.

La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'un produit dispersant contenant de l'azote qui est utilisé en tant qu'additif antioxydant dans une composition de combustible/carburant comprenant du biocombustible/biocarburant. Le produit dispersant contenant de l'azote est de préférence sélectionné parmi: (i) le produit de réaction d'un acide carboxylique à substitution hydrocarbyle ou un dérivé de ce dernier avec une amine, ce produit contenant un substituant hydrocarbyle formé d'au moins 8 atomes de carbone; (ii) une amine aliphatique à longue chaîne comprenant un groupe hydrocarbyle formé d'au moins 8 atomes de carbone; et (iii) le produit de réaction de type Mannich d'un phénol, d'une amine et d'un aldéhyde.
