ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION An apparatus comprising a housing, a wall dividing the housing into high and low pressure chambers having a pressure differential therebetween, the wall including a surface partially defining the high pressure chamber, and a passage communicating with the surface and between the high and low pressure chambers, a valve seat located on the surface adjacent the passage, a valve member movable into engagement with the valve seat for preventing fluid flow through the passage, and a mechanism for causing the valve member to move away from the valve seat with a snap action.
