ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A grid for supporting and aligning fuel rods in a nuclear reactor so that the centres of the rods lie at the apexes of equilateral triangles. The grid is composed of two sets of corrugated parallel strips arranged at an angle of 60° relative to each other. The two sets of strips contact each other at points along their edges where they are joined by welding.
