Un circuit de carburant de moteur d'avion comporte en aval d'une pompe haute pression (3), un clapet (12) économiseur recevant une commande (15). En configuration de rallumage en vol du moteur, lorsque la vitesse de rotation devient inférieure à un seuil prédéterminé, la commande (15) commande la fermeture du clapet (12) économiseur. Une série de géométries variables (9) n'est alors plus alimentée en carburant HP. On réduit ainsi les dimensions de la pompe (3) HP et celles d'autres composants du circuit, en particulier des échangeurs thermiques.
