The fuel saving device has an intake chamber and a heat exchanger into which the fuel/air mixture from a carburetor flows. The mixture within. the heat exchanger is heated to a temperature at which about 50 percent or more of the fuel in the mixture is converted to a gaseous form. The device has a passage through which the heated mixture from the heat exchanger flows to the intake manifold of an internal combustion engine.
