Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) is designed to eliminate or minimize fuel consumption of different kinds of vehicle. This idea can also be applicable to industrial plants or residential areas where it applies. Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Alternator combination is called the generator which produces electricity. Generators are commonly used at residential areas, small offices, and small establishments. Small generators are used as a substitute power if power interruption happens. Small generator has an important role in Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) principle. It generates electricity used to charged batteries and to back up power to a vehicle. Electric cars will last to a certain period of time and needs to be charged with an electric outlet if batteries are discharged. Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) is similar to it with an enhance feature. The unique feature of Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) is that the internal combustion engine (ICE) is not the primary power of the vehicle. The role of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and the alternator is to charge the batteries alternately and to obtain continues power when vehicle is running. ICE is also coupled with compressor for the air conditioning system. Comparing to Hybrid vehicle, Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) is more economical and the features are can easily built. Hybrid vehicle is still dependent on Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) power to run a vehicle; While Fuel Saving Vehicle (FSV) is 100% dependent on electricity to accelerate a vehicle.
